Frequently Asked Questions

We are often asked how Dayton Medical Center is distinguished from most conventional and alternative medical practices. These are some of the more common questions we here.

What do we promote in addition to alleviating signs and symptoms of disease?
Regeneration and repair
Cognitive and physical function
Increased quality and duration of health
Vitality and enjoyment in participating in life

How we do it?
We use conventional and alternative technology complementarily, ranging from ancient to cutting edge in addition to promoting appropriate life style choices involving diet, attitude, exercise and hygiene.

We continually update and refine care offered drawing from conferences attended abroad and domestically sponsored by medical organizations in various disciplines, more than twelve a year.
Additionally tapes, teleconferences, and journals are used for supplemental information. Academically, medical students and residents from various medical schools are taught on premises.

What do we offer that distinguishes us from others?
We have over 35 years of experience in integrating knowledge and technology of from around the world to address individual patient needs that is not ordinarily found in conventional medical settings or alternative medical settings. Such experience is put to use for addressing conditions more comprehensively in more effective safer and efficient ways.

How is insurance coverage handled?
U.S. Medicare is accepted for what Medicare covers. Medicare does not cover all diagnostics and therapies offered. Upon request patients are told in advance which services are likely or unlikely to be covered. However, insurance coverage predictions can not be guaranteed.

Medicare insurance covers non traditional nutritional, toxicity, metabolic and hormonal laboratory assessments. It does not cover oral vitamin, oral herbal, intravenous chelation therapy, or intra muscular GH3 injections.

Receipts are given to patients for non Medicare insurance policy holders to submit to third party payers.

On what do we focus?
We place emphasis on underling disharmony and contributing imbalances which cause various signs and symptoms that we call disease, as well as disease itself. By addressing proactively underlying causes we can better overcome and prevent many forms of disease and optimize
health. Being proactive is essential to attaining and sustaining healthy and zestful living. To be proactive in establishing and maintaining a harmonious state of health many strategic options are evaluated and treated depending upon the requirements of the individual. Such strategies issues include categorically:

Overcoming toxicity (toxic chemicals, toxic thoughts, etc.)
Overcoming deficiencies (vitamins, emotional nurturing, etc.)
Improving bodily communication (hormonal, immune, nervous, etc.)
Improving bodily transportation (blood circulation, bowel transit, etc.)
Improving structural support and mobility (skeleton, cell membranes, etc.)
Improving attitudes, emotions, cognitive processes, relationships and spirit
Fostering harmonious bodily energies
Maintaining adequate exercise and restorative rest

By addressing underlying causes of disease via many perspectives, the person can be “fine tuned” to better deal with present maladies and prevent others from manifesting prematurely. In doing desirable so we can team as may be deemed with conventional medical specialists as well as ancillary and alternative health providers such nutritionists, therapists, and doctors of chiropractic, naturopathy and acupuncture.

Educational updating: Dr. Dayton, our medical director, in addition to being an avid reader of medical information travels nationally and internationally to various conferences each year to further the technologies we offer and to establish new resources from which to draw and to which to refer. He has two earned doctorates and lectures at international medical meetings on subjects ranging from anti-aging to advanced cancer. Although, has held various academic professorial appointments and still teaches medical students , his focus is on patient care.
